Electrical installations in factories, manufacturing sites and other industrial premises should be inspected and tested at least every three years. During a electrical installation condition report, our experienced electricians will check that electrical installations are in a safe and satisfactory condition. We can also carry out PAT testing, test fire alarms and check that emergency lighting is working effectively if required, please ask for further details.

Often we can provide a quote over the phone for electrical testing for larger industrial units, but where necessary one of our electrical engineers can carry out a free pre-test site visit to assess your premises before testing.

We understand that production down time can be costly and disruptive for your business, which is why we will work with your management team to schedule testing for the most convenient time. This can include testing at weekends, in the evening or overnight if required.

Once testing has been completed at your industrial premises, you will be issued with an Electrical Installation Condition Report, or EICR. This will show whether your electrical installations are satisfactory, or detail any work required to bring your site up to current safety standards. EICRs are provided electronically as a PDF and can also be accessed at any time through our online customer portal.
